Dr. Paul R. Piccione, MD

Dr. Paul Piccione is the Director of Endoscopic and Diagnosis Treatment Center located in the heart of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

He has served the Brooklyn community for over 28 years with thoughtful and compassionate patient care.

Dr Piccione is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He completed his medical residency at Lutheran Medical Center where he was elected Chief Resident, and continued his training as a Fellow in Gastroenterology at St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Piccione was also researcher at the Rockefeller Institute.

His comprehensive training has allowed him to develop excellent clinical and endoscopic skills for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease, GERD, colonic polyps, colon cancer and hepatitis. He also has expertise in the management of celiac, pancreatic and biliary disease.

Dr. Piccione is listed in Castle Connolly as "Top Doctor".

He is the former Director of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Victory Memorial Hospital and was Interim Director of Gastroenterology at Lutheran Medical Center.

He has authored several research publications and abstracts.

He is attending physician at NYU Lutheran hospital center, Maimonides Medical center and Downstate medical center.

Dr. Piccione specializes in upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, large colon and gastric polyp resection, and capsule endoscopy.
